THE ENDURANCE WITHIN YOU

Perseverance

Written by Rowan · Last verified: September 11, 2026

A little more effort. A different way forward.

Perseverance is sustained effort after the novelty wears off. It shows up in practice, recovery, and the ordinary work between a beginning and a finish.

When this strength serves you

You can return after a difficult day and adjust a method that is not working. People may rely on you in the part of a project that is less exciting but still essential.

The other side of perseverance

Endurance can keep you invested in work that no longer serves you. Rest, a different method, or a considered ending can protect what you actually value.

Perseverance and Determination: what is different?

Perseverance carries effort through time; determination sets and renews its direction. Working hard and choosing a worthwhile goal are separate skills.

Explore Determination

One small experiment

Make one routine easier to repeat. Choose a small minimum you can return to after an interruption instead of demanding a perfect streak.

Am I protecting the goal, or only repeating the method?

Reading your result

A high Perseverance score means your answers aligned with this test’s endurance items. Read it alongside the other six scores. A lower score does not establish the absence of this quality.

These descriptions are our original interpretation for a fan-made reflection exercise. They are not official game canon or validated psychological categories. Read the scoring method.
